James "Jim" E. Crocker's Obituary
James “Jim” E. Crocker, 58, of Ruckersville, VA passed peacefully surrounded by his family on April 15, 2024 at his home. He was born January 15, 1966 in Culpeper to Bonnie J. and the late Arthur M. Crocker.
James earned his Associate’s degree from Germanna Community College in Auto Mechanics. He was voted the best mechanic in Culpeper multiple times. He worked for Gilmore’s Auto Service for 32 years, starting out pumping gas. He retired in 2018.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Hope Crocker; three children, Brett Jenkins, Kaila Bragg (Matthew), and Emma Crocker; four grandchildren, Faith Bragg, Ava Bragg, Calvin Bragg, and Carter Bragg; five siblings, Theresa Coppola (Michael), Ann McLaughlin (John), Timothy “Tim” Crocker (Holly), Steve Crocker (Misty), and Carol Kelsey (Ben); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chester Caudill officiating.

Interment will follow at Graham Cemetery, 14191 Constitution Hwy, Orange, VA 22960. Pallbearers serving the family will be Emma Crocker, Matthew Bragg, Tim Crocker, Steve Crocker, Ben Kelsey, and Jay Yowell. Honorary pallbearers are Brett Jenkins, John McLaughlin, and Michael Coppola.
