Aunt Peggy, Debbie, David, Mark, Ricky, and Family,

We were saddened to learn about Uncle Jim and we will miss him. He was always so kind to our family and he was strong-willed and determined in so many different ways. He obviously loved his family very much and was intent upon not letting his illness keep him down. Even when he may not have been feeling well, he always came to the family events to see everyone and speak to each person.

During this difficult time, rely on God's strength and His love because He is faithful to be there for us. Your family has been there for us in our time of loss and we are here for you now. We will always think of him when we pass through Sweet Chalybeate.

Jim was probably the stongest person I have ever met. He battled sickness for many years and you never heard him complain or get discouraged......he always had a smile. I know that he will be missed by many people but I know that everyone will always remember the love that he had for his family. I don't know of a person that was more devoted to his children and grandchilren them Jim. You could always count on him to be there for a party, ball game or just to visit. He was so proud of every one of them. I know my children will miss him dearly and are having a hard time with the reality that he is gone. I have told them both to find comfort in the memories and know that it is not forever....they will see him again. The Entire Cook Family will be in my thoughts in prayers has you all try to deal with this incredible loss.

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I have so many great memories of our families spending time together in West Virginia. Uncle Jim was always faithful to join our family reunions at Moncove Lake. He will be missed.

As you know, my Father passed away five years ago. I miss him every day, and I know the feelings that you are going through right now. The memories of your Dad and the stories you will hear about him will be painful at first, but these memories will become joy and comfort as time passes. You will want to remember each and every one of them.

Comfort and joy will now come from your family, but more importantly your faith in God and the peace that He can bring. We will keep your family in our prayers.
