James Michael Brown's Obituary
James Michael Brown, 66, of Fredericksburg passed away on December 28, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.
Mike was a devoted volunteer with Chancellor Fire and Rescue Squad for many years. He also served as a deacon at Fairview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fleming and Jean Brown, a step-daughter, Paula, and a grandson, Spencer.
Mike is survived by his wife, Linda; a daughter, Brandy Brown, and her husband, Ian; two step-daughters, Tracie and Tiffanie Massey; eight grandchildren, Rowan, Kayla, Taylor, Cassie, Mitchell, Christian, Zoie, and Brooke; a son-in-law, Jerry Bounds; two brothers, Matt and his wife, Judie, and Clay; a sister, Anne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family.
A memorial service in Mike’s honor will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Fairview Baptist Church, 900 Charlotte St, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
