James Edwin Brown's Obituary
James Edwin Brown, Sr., 67, of Amissville died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born March 7, 1949 in Front Royal to the late James Harvey Brown and Lou Ada Whorton Brown.
He is survived by two sons; James Brown, Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Orange, and Shawn Brown and his wife, Joanne of Culpeper; a brother, Jerry Brown of Amissville; one sister, Jeanne Brown also of Amissville; and one granddaughter, Hannah Brown.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Bennie Whorton.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. L.D. Savage and James Pittman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Sperryville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name toward his granddaughter Hannah’s trust fund.
