James Cyril Blair Sr's Obituary
James C. Blair, Sr., 70, of Fredericksburg, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
James worked as a Delivery Coordinator for Home Depot for 13 years. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy for many years.
James is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dottie Blair; a step-daughter, Angela Hoeferkamp and her husband, Craig; two step-sons, Kelly Patrick Dean and his wife, Kimberly and Kenneth Mastin and his wife, Kay; a daughter, Monica J. Blair and two sons, James C. Blair, Jr. and his wife, Kim and Albert Scott Blair, all of Fredericksburg. He also leaves behind two brothers, David Blair of Florida and Ben Reese of Georgia; a sister, Geraldine Spaulding of Arizona; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
James’ family will receive friends Monday, January 31, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Rd. Fredericksburg with the American Legion Post 320 providing honor guard services. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the funeral chapel with the Rev. R. Robert Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
