James Howard "Joe" Blackburn's Obituary
James Howard “Joe” Blackburn, 48, of Rixeyville died Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was born July 13, 1965 in Manassas to William Howard Blackburn and Lula Mae Dye Blackburn.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing bass guitar. He also loved to grill for family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife; Rebecca Diane Blackburn; and five children, Tiffany Rae Ennis and her husband, Jerry Lee, Jr. of Madison, Raven Elizabeth Blackburn of Woodbridge, Joshua Taylor Blackburn of Rixeyville, William Eddie Blackburn and his wife, Addair of Rixeyville and Patricia Ann Lowery and her husband, Justin of Royal Retreat.
Other survivors include two sisters, Wilma Hanna and Doris Healton; two brothers, William Blackburg and Roy Dean Blackburn Sr.; eight grandchildren, Jackson Alexander Clatterbuck, Layla Marie Ennis, Kara Alexis Wittich, Sunny Ray Hartenstren, Gincic Kelley Blackburn, Adrienne Rena Hurley, Brittany Laslac Lowery and Landot Jancob Lowery; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Blackburn was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosa Lee and Mary Mae Blackburn.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 03, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 12 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ron and Hunter Horn, Charles Weeks, Ricky Birge, J.R. Blackburn, Jerry Ennis, Ricky and Roy Burke.
Honorary pallbearer will be Roger Vorce.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
