James Edward Bennett Sr.'s Obituary
James Edward Bennett, Sr., 84, of Spotsylvania County passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Greenfield Senior Living of Spotsylvania.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and watching NASCAR. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.
James is survived by two sons, Steven Bennett and his wife, Jackie and Martin Bennett and his companion, Nancy Trone; and daughter-in-law, Tanya Bennett, all of Spotsylvania; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Bennett; and son, James Bennett, Jr.
James’ family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the funeral chapel with Pastor Jeff Parsons officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. in National Memorial Park, Falls Church.
