James Clarence Atchison's Obituary
James C. Atchison, 80, of Spotsylvania County, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He lost his longtime battle with cancer after a valiant fight.
He worked at FMC for almost 20 years, then worked for General Products for another 25 years.
James is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy; his children, Shirley Atchison-Cornett and Kevin Atchison; a grandson, Nicholas Cornett; two brothers, Roger and Robert Atchison; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Olar Atchison; two brothers, Herbert and Howard Atchison; and a sister, Clara Grooms.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in the Brooks-Atchison Family Cemetery.
