Jackie H. Lanham's Obituary
Mildred Ilene (Jackie) Lanham, 75, of Culpeper went home to be with the Lord on Saturday February 14, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born September 20, 1939 in Swords Creek, VA to Sherman Jennings Hale and Nellie Marie Jackson Hale.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Clay Alan Lanham. In addition she is survived by one son David Smith of Stanley, VA and a daughter Kim Mills and her husband Randy of Spotsylvania. In addition two brothers Leon Hale from Ohio; and John Hale and his wife Charlotte of Abingdon, VA; three sisters Judy Armentrout from Ohio; Sharon Sprouse and her husband William of Culpeper; and Tammy Cruse of Roanoke, VA. Jackie also leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by two sons Steven and John Smith.
Jackie was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Brandy Station. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday February 19, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701,
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday February 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Russell Jenkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
