I grew up with Jack as a like grandfather figure to me, he taught me all about gardening, in the huge garden he planted every year, from growing peanuts, tomatoes, green beans, and cucumbers, he would wait for me to arrive everyday to help him go pick it was the highlight of both our days!!! Also when we would take our fishing trip to the pond back behind the house and he and Jan would hold on to me so the 2pound bass wouldn't pull my little 50 pound self in, then returning to have a huge fish fry with the best homemade hush puppies. He has always held a special place in my heart and always will. God gained a truly amazing man, may you rest in peace Grandpa Jack!!
