Isaac Forbes
Isaac Sanford Forbes, 76, of Fredericksburg, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Isaac was a lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Chapter 4123. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlotte Deats; his children, Kathy Whittaker and Patty Bruce of Fredericksburg, Isaac Forbes Jr., Addie Louise Davis, and William Wade Forbes all of North Carolina; and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; his sisters, Delma Dail and Lily English both from North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lathan Forbes.
Isaac’s family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels ~ Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the funeral chapel with Bette Goglia officiating.
