Irma A. Hodges' Obituary
Irmgard A. (Irma) Hodges, 77, of Ladysmith, formerly of Stafford County passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 at her home.
She was an avid Redskins fan.
Irma is survived by three sons, Walter Eddy and his wife, Marsha of Newport, NC, Wayne Eddy and his wife, Vicki of Ladysmith and Brad Hodges of Stafford; two daughters, Dorothea Phipps and her husband, Ben of Springfield and Cindy St. Clair and her husband, Roy of Ladysmith; nine grandchildren, William Phipps, Sandi Holbrook, Chris Phipps, Andrew Eddy, Tassie Drake, Brad Hodges II, Cullen Hodges, Thomas St. Clair and Joshua Allen and three great grandchildren, Nathan Holbrook, Madison Drake and Maryah Eddy.
Irma is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Hodges and her parents, Franz and Cecilia Wascgler.
A memorial service celebrating Irma’s life will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 at 5:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg with the Rev. Bob Schultz officiating.
In lieu of flowers her family requests that donations be made in Irma’s name to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
