Irene Jones Wilson's Obituary
Irene Jones Wilson, 92, of Fredericksburg, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at Hughes Home.
She was born in New Kent County to the late William and Emily Jones.
Irene was a loving wife and mother, and a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Elvin L. Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Sharon and Lynn E. Wilson, all of Fredericksburg, granddaughter, Annette Wilson, and her fiancé Josh Carson, of Ruther Glen, and grandson Devon Wilson of Columbus, Ohio.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin L. Wilson, Sr. and all of her siblings.
Mrs. Wilson’s family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. She will be buried with her husband at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date with a private ceremony.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Hughes Home and Mary Washington Hospice for their loving care.
