Ida Mae Dana's Obituary
Ida Mae Dana, 90, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Novant Health UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born January 24, 1934 in Virginia to the late Emory and Carrie Stacy.
Ida was a CNA and a great homemaker. She loved sewing and mending linens for the military.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Letts and Beverly Davis; four grandchildren, Kala Fagan, Michael Letts, Lindsey Messick, and Desiree Messick; three great-grandchildren, Addison Messick, Thomas Randall, and Elija Goodman; one sister, Margie Driscoll; and one brother, Leon Stacy.
In addition to her parents, Ida is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dana; and one brother, Jim Stacy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 East Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Dr. Billy Tatum officiating.
