Hushel Settle's Obituary
Hushel Settle, 81, of Castleton, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. He was born to Luther Settle and Lottie Whorton Settle in Castleton.
Surviving Mr. Settle is his wife of 61 years, Joyce P. Settle of Castleton; his son, Hushel Junior Settle and his wife, Mary and their two sons, Kevin and Kory; and his daughter, Joyce Ann Compton and her husband, Warren, Jr. and their grandson, Eric.
Additional survivors include his sisters, Gladys Southard of Culpeper, Virginia Compton and her husband, David of Castleton, and Lois Smith and her husband, Joe.
Mr. Settle was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Timothy Lee Compton; his brother, James Hilry Settle; and his sisters, Dorothy Settle, Lorraine Mallory and Frances Corbin.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
