I am very sad to hear of the loss of such an amazing man. I am very sad to hear this and will greatly miss him.
I worked with Hugh for several years at Walter Grinders. He had a joke for me everyone morning when i came to work. He reminded me so much of my father. For a couple years after he retired, he would still call me at Walters to give me a joke in the mornings.
Rest in Peace, My Friend.

Hugh and Shelly,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I was fortunate to have been able to meet and visit with your parents several times and thought very fondly of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Hugh and his late wife, Dori, were the best friends we had! Met them in Great Lakes. They had just had their son, Daniel, just!!!! We also had the pleasure of meeting all the rest of the children at the same time. We had so many good times, camping, fishing, etc.. we were like one BIG FAMILY!!!! Our kids got along great, and we adults became like brothers and sister's. My husband and I have lost a dear friend and brother! We know you are with the Love of your life, Hugh, which makes us a little lighter in our hearts! You, will, however, be sorely missed, Love you, Brother!!!! Nick and Jean Nichols.

Pops was the only person that I knew that could tell a different joke each time I saw him. I always tried to bring him a new joke but he had already had the punch line before I could finish. I loved that about him, he always made me laugh. Hugh was truelly one of the good guys on this earth and I know heaven must need him. He will always be in my heart and mind forever and ever. Bicycle, till we meet again!
