Homer Hek, Sr.
Homer Carroll Hek, Sr., 82, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Homer enjoyed being members at the Eagles and Moose Lodges.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Ann Hek.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Brooks; two daughters, Judy Carroll Trainer from Brooms Island, Maryland, and Ann Lee Wayland from Fredericksburg; two sons, Homer C. Hek, Jr. from Fairfield, Pennsylvania and Wallace H. Hek from Daytona Beach, Florida; one sister, Edith C. Lewellyn from Richmond; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Homer was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
