Herbert Woolfrey, Jr.'s Obituary
Herbert Lee Woolfrey, Jr., 62 of Spotsylvania County, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007.
He served as a drill sergeant with the United States Army. Herbert spent his entire working career as a carpenter and skilled craftsman. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Herbert is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda; two sons, Jason M. Woolfrey and Herbert L. Woolfrey, III; a daughter, Angela L. Woolfrey, all of Spotsylvania; his mother, Eleanor P. Woolfrey of Stafford County; two brothers, Carl R. Woolfrey and Leslie T. Woolfrey, both of Spotsylvania; seven sisters, Ollie E. Smith, Ruby V. Wiley and Mary E. Scott, all of Stafford, Lillian A. Schiavone, Vera P. Edmonds and Rose M. Woolfrey, all of Woodbridge and Margaret L. Martinez of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert L. Woolfrey, Sr. and a brother, Kelly L. Woolfrey.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11:00 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jim Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in Mine Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
