Herbert Jenkins' Obituary
Herbert Wayne Jenkins, 44, of Sperryville departed this life on August 3, 2010. He was born January 9, 1966, the loving son to Anna Pullen of Sperryville and Herbert A. Jenkins of Florida.
Wayne treasured his family and had a passion for the Lord. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister whom he loved dearly, Theresa Harrell of Louisa, his five children, Ashleigh Brown of Ruckersville, Chelsea Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Elijah Jenkins and Logan Jenkins, all of Orange, his dear friend and companion, Bonny Darrell, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 9, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Burke officiating.
Interment will follow at the Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Greg Hickerson, Tim Wolfe, Daniel Smith, Jeff Dwyer, James Dodson, and Herbert (Peewee) Atkins. Honorary pallbearer will be Brian Harrell.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
