Henry Conway's Obituary
Henry Lewis Conway was born in King George County, Virginia on February 25, 1952 to the late Charles C. Conway and Agnes B. Conway.
He attended Union Bell Baptist Church at an early age. He also graduated from King George High School. Henry was employed as a brick mason and heavy equipment operator. He also had an honorable discharge from the United States Navy.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory three children, Nathaniel Cox and his wife, Tia and their son, Nathaniel RJ, Jr. of Stafford County; and Tasha Conway and Tonya Conway, both of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania.
Henry also leaves a brother, Michael Conway and his wife, Mary of Fredericksburg; four sisters, Patricia Joseph of Fredericksburg, Dianne Conway and her husband, Jamie of Montgomery, Texas, Gloria Conway and her husband, Henry of Spotsylvania County and Mildred Conway of Fredericksburg; two uncles, Lloyd Boxley and his wife, Louise and George Boxley and his wife, Terry, all of Stafford; five aunts, Winnie Johnson of Silver Springs, Maryland, Virginia Boxley of Greenbelt, Maryland, Annie Scott and her husband, Raymond and Josephine Brown and her husband, Bernard, all of Sealston and Elsie Dorsey of Baltimore, Maryland; three nieces, Taiwania Strong, Carilla Ellis and Akira Conway; three nephews, Charles Ellis, Treymayne Ellis and Michael Conway, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Velma Conway; a devoted and loving friend, Anna Ellington; his stick partner, Henry Hank Goodwin; a very special friend, Connie Conway and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles W. Conway.
Henry’s family will receive friends Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 22, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the funeral chapel with Pastor William T. Frye officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
