Henri K. Schaepman's Obituary
Henri K. Schaepman, 85, of Elkwood, VA passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Autumn Care of Madison. He was born June 5, 1938 to the late Karel Peter Anton Schaepman and Gertrude Johanna Kuiper Schaepman in the Netherlands.
Henri worked as a horticulturalist. One of his jobs was with the National Academy of Science.
Henri is survived by his wife, Vicki Schaepman of Elkwood, VA; children, Charles Schaepman (Annamarie) of France, Spencer Schaepman (Katie) of Virginia, Laurel Schaepman Garcia (Juan) of West Virginia, Jason Houston (Amanda) of Culpeper, VA, Kevin Houston (Margo) of Boston, VA, and Justin Houston (Amy) of Reva, VA; sisters, José Schaepman, Leonie Schaepman, Emily Schaepman, Julie deBoer, and Marian Schaepman all of the Netherlands; brother, René Schaepman (Ellen) of the Netherlands; 14 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
