Helen VanHouten 's Obituary
Helen Van Houten, 97, a resident of Arden Courts of Kensington, MD, formerly of Manassas, VA, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010.
Mrs. Van Houten was born in Manhattan on October 29, 1912. She worked as a nurse at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and later as a cafeteria manager for Arlington County Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald M. Van Houten in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Donald T. Van Houten and wife Graciela; two grandchildren, Luis Bustillos, Richard Bustillos and wife Dawn; a great-granddaughter, Brianna Grace Bustillos.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM on Wednesday, August 18th at the Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA 20109. Funeral services will be 12:30 PM on Thursday, August 19th at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
