Helen Margaret Campbell's Obituary
Helen Margaret Campbell, 79, died October 24, 2022 at Spring Arbor Memory Care of Fredericksburg, VA. She was born on February 13, 1943, in England, U.K., to the late Dr. Robert James Crawford Campbell and Marjorie Ameila (Seddon) Campbell.
Helen spent most of her younger years growing up in Scotland (the place she will forever call home), before finally settling down with her family in Virginia for more than 50 years. She was a huge part of the community in Manassas, VA, as one of Prince William Hospital’s labor and delivery registered nurses, as well as a midwife. She enjoyed singing in the choir at her local Methodist church. She was an avid reader, knitter, and quilter.
She is survived by her son, William A. Spitzgo; her daughter, Emily L. Stevens (Brandon); her two grandsons, Camden and Robby Stevens; her brothers, Robert and Andrew (Shonah) Campbell; and her sister, Janet Campbell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for visitation and memorial services immediately after at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Won Lee officiating from Culpeper United Methodist Church.
