Helen Mae Anderson's Obituary
Helen Mae Anderson (Sally), 80, of Ruther Glen, VA died early Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Baltimore, MD. She was born in Purcellville, Loudoun County, VA on August 22, 1940 to the late Charles Flemer and Penny Walker.
During her younger years Helen was very active in various garden clubs and enjoyed her roses to the end. She was also very active in several ski clubs through the years and had a love for the water. She loved her time spent while living in Charleston, SC. Helen loved her furry friends through the years and her love for German shepherds was well known. For the past several years, she has enjoyed her devoted little beagle, Scout.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Michelle Miller (Jason Compton) and a son, William “Bill” Walker; three grandchildren, Jay Anderson, whom she took great care of, Sydney Compton and Austin Compton, with whom she enjoyed visiting; and one sister, Mary Racine, of Prosperity, SC.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her step-father, Edward Walker.
Funeral services will be private.
