While Aunt Hazel lived in VA and I lived in IN, she was able to be a part of my life as I was growing up. She mailed me some of the most beautiful hand made smocked dresses when I was small. I was so proud to wear them to school where my school teachers would marvel at her smocking ability. She exchanged letters and family pictures with my mother, Jetteree. Mom would share these letters with myself and my brothers. I have fond memories of our visits with her and her family at our Grandparents in GA each summer and also in VA at her home. She surprised me when I lived in Oklahoma and called one day to let me know she was in the area and would like to come to visit me and my family. Once again she had reached out to me and made me feel her love for me. Aunt Hazel you are remembered for all your loving deeds. God Bless.

I will always cherish the memories of my dear Sister we were close in so many ways. We enjoyed our times together, We made many trips to Ga. at the same time. as well as the times we went to VA. to Visit Marvin & Hazel. They always had so much planed and made us to feel so welcome. Hazel was always a very careing person for all her family. She was so helpful to our Mother and Father.
I am so sorry I wasn't aple to come to the funeral in person. I was there in Spirit. I did here the Songs as they sang. Those two Hymns was her favorite. I have memories of hearing her sing those hymns. Hazel did have a tender heart. I will always remember our visit to va. going to convention with her to Downing, Va. I will always remember her and glad that I know that she lived for this day. She is now with her saviour and the endless day that is promised to all who are willing to follow his words and willing to be led by the spirit of Jesus. She was a good example. We all oved Hazel. Aunt Hazel was always able to give us a huge smile and hug to let us know how much we all meant to her. May we all share our fun memories of times together whether in Virginia; Georgia or Indiana. Her physical body moves on but her name will always bring fond memories to my children, and me.
