Hazel Mallie Cash Cobb's Obituary
Hazel Cash Cobb, 66, of Fredericksburg, was reunited in heaven with her Lord and her parents on Friday, November 19, 2021.
She was a multi-talented lady who was creative in so many ways. Hazel was a beloved hairdresser at Gail’s Hair Care for over 30 years. She has many dedicated clients who frequented her beauty services for decades. Hazel’s talent was on display in the beauty salon, at her home, her family’s homes and more. She enjoyed making crafts, painting beautiful scenery, and floral design. Hazel was also extremely talented in planning and decorating for special events, including weddings. She loved to spend her time line-dancing with friends all around town, including at The Barn, The Eagles Lodge, and Hard Times. More than anything, she loved her family, especially her grandkids. She was an incredible cook, enjoyed baking for others and loved to spoil her grandchildren. Hazel also dedicated her talents as the beloved hairdresser at Found and Sons of Fredericksburg for many years.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Mike Cobb; her children, Stephanie Cobb Hefner (Christopher) and Joshua Cobb (Cassie Hilldrup); her siblings, Faye Cash-Heishman (Jack), Wayne Cash, and Patricia Martini (Billy); her grandchildren, Ross Hefner, Alexis, Grace, and Cullen Cobb, and Benjamin, Alyssa, Bradley and Cole Durrette; her nieces, Shawndra Fisher and Danitta Martini; her nephew, Tripp Martini; her great nephews, Colby Kay and Owen Martini; her great-niece, Malley Martini and other loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Mallie Cash.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. There will be second visitation from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Found and Sons of Fredericksburg, where a funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm with Pastor Jason Booth officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Mt Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria.
