Hazel Mae Bourne's Obituary
Hazel Mae Bourne, 80, of King George County passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at her home.
Hazel co-owned Charlie’s Crab House with her husband. She had a generous soul and never met a stranger.
Hazel enjoyed listening to blue grass music and spending time with her family and friends. She retired from G & H Manufacturing when it closed.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles S. Bourne Sr.; a son, Charles S. Bourne Jr. and his wife, Lisa of King George; a sister, Bertha Seay of Stafford County; two grandsons, Nathan Bourne and his wife, Kristina of Stafford and Lance Richardson of King George; a granddaughter, Sydney Bourne of King George; a great-grandson, Chase Bourne of Stafford and future great-granddaughter, Baylee Mae Bourne; two nieces, Donna Manning and her husband, Thomas of Caroline County and Wanda Wright of Charlottesville; and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Viola Dobson; two sisters, Pearl Dodson and Pauline Harding; and two brothers, Sidney and Morris Dobson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Bob Ellinger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Hazel’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to White Oak Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Betty Joe Lael, 9701 Peppertree Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
