Haywood Boyd Keyser's Obituary
Haywood Boyd Keyser, 76, of Manassas died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Prince William Hospital. He was born August 18, 1932 in Culpeper to the late Boyd William and Bessie Pearl Pullen Keyser.
Mr. Keyser was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished the time he had with his family. His most treasured pastime was fishing with his grandchildren.
Mr. Keyser is survived by his children, Carol Keyser of Manassas, Alice Carter and her husband, Brian of Bealeton, Bruce Keyser and his wife, Fonda of Manassas, Haywood Boyd Keyser, Jr. and Kathy Breams, both of St. Petersburg, FL, and fifteen grandchildren, Mark Anthony Jeffers, Brad and Adam Carter, Bryce and Megan Keyser, Carleigh and Destinee Bragg, Mary Anne, Erica, Joseph and Michael Dorberly, Adam, Brad, Megan, and Jason Keyser, fourteen great grandchildren, and devoted friends, Tammy and Mike Bragg and son-in-law, Brian Jeffers.
Additional survivors include his siblings, Harry Keyser of Manassas, Alize Berry of Madison, Roger Keyser of Richmond, Ronnie Keyser of York, PA, Emma Lillard, Frances Leake, Ruth Mozingo, Alta Menefee, Genevieve Edwards, David Keyser, Robert Keyser and Charles Keyser, all of Culpeper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Alice Keyser, and two sisters, Gladys Lindsey and Betty Brightwell.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hazel River Assembly of God, 14383 Hazel River Church Rd., Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Hazel River Assembly of God with Pastor Steve Dodson officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
