Harold Ralph James
Harold Ralph James, 76, of Culpeper, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center in Culpeper. He was born May 29, 1931 in Endicott, New York to the late Charles James and Ruth Coleman James.
Mr. James was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He worked as a Production Controler at IBM in Manassas for 33 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and a master woodworking craftsman.
Mr. James is survived by his wife, Frances Bailey K. James, four sons, Harold Ralph James, Jr., George James, Mike Kennedy and Darrell Kennedy, and two daughters, Susan Driver and Debra Fortin. Additional survivors include two sisters, Helen Middleton and Dorothy Crawford, one brother, Richard James, thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Debosie, Beverly Thrasher and Carol Armstrong, and one brother, Charles B. James.
The family would like to thank Dr. Suter and all the wonderful staff at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassion and caring. The family also is very grateful for the love and continued support and prayers from our wonderful pastor, Pastor Bruce Fincham, and the church family at Bible Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 22, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Bruce Fincham officiating.
Interment will follow at Craig Healing Springs Christian Church cemetery in Craig Springs, Virginia.
