Harold Pop Wilson, Jr.'s Obituary
Harold Dale Pop Wilson, Jr., 64, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marilyn Kathryn Wilson; a son, Harold D. Wilson and his wife, Sarah of Georgia; two daughters, Gwen Hernandez of Oxford, NC and Sheri Merrill and her husband, George of Wake Forest, NC; a brother, Robert Wilson of New Jersey; a sister, Charlotte Williams of Fairfax, VA; eight grandchildren; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold was the treasurer of the Fredericksburg Classic and Muscle Car Club and was a member of the V.W. Cruisers of Culpeper and the Battlefield Dubs of Fredericksburg.
Harold’s family will receive friends Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers his family requests that expressions of sympathy may made in the form of donations in Harold’s name to Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 101, Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
