Harold M. Lawrence's Obituary
Harold M. Lawrence, 76, of Boston, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center with his loving and devoted wife by his side. He was born August 5, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to the late Harold and Minola Lawrence.
Harold was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, and metal detecting. He loved spending time with his family and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Carolyn Lawrence; three children, Gregory Lawrence (Nicole), Matthew Lawrence (Nikki), and Steven Lawrence; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one aunt, Dorothy Costello.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Lawrence; and one sister, Judith Dodson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Father Kevin Walsh officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Remington Cemetery, 11910 Cemetery Rd, Remington, VA 22734. Military honors will be provided by the US Navy. Pallbearers serving the family will be Gregory Lawrence, Matthew Larence, Steven Lawrence, Bobby Cullen, Shawn Franklin, and Bim Dodson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold’s name to VFW Post 2524, 12210 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
