Harold Joseph Lamb's Obituary
Harold Joseph Lamb, 91, of Fredericksburg, VA Passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
He was born September 12, 1932, in Galion, Ohio to the late Mathew and Lucille Davison. He graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting and was also a certified public accountant. Harold Lamb worked for Ford Motor Company as an accountant, the United States Army Audit Agency, and was a branch manager for the Defense Contract Audit Agency until his retirement in September 1993. He also served his country for two years in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Simone Marie-Louise Lamb; and his parents.
Harold is survived by his son, David Wallace Lamb (wife Cathy) of Ohio, stepson, Patrick Lamar (wife Jackie) of Kansas; five grandchildren, Kimberly Stroud (Kansas), Christopher Lamar (Alabama), Mark Lamb (Ohio), Steve Lamb (Ohio), and Sarah Harbottle (Ohio); and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Church of the Messiah. This will be followed by a private burial service at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
