Harold G. Ammerman's Obituary
Harold G. Ammerman, age 69, of Lignum, VA passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019. He was born on January 31, 1949 to the late Harold R. and Dorothy H. Ammerman.
Harry was very skilled in woodworking having expertly crafted many quality items for his family and friends. He retired from Homestead Carpentry and was an avid fisherman. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Harry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pam Ammerman; three children, Cristi Griffin and her husband, Lyall, Matt Ammerman and his wife, Amy, and Angie Baker and her partner, Marty Riley; two brothers, Bob Ammerman and his wife, Rosalie, and Scott Ammerman and his wife, Donna; one sister, Dottie Lokovich and her husband, Larry; five grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, Maddy, Angel and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
