Hank LaRobert Shaver's Obituary
Hank LaRobert Shaver, 53, of Culpeper, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He was born October 16, 1968 in Fairfax, VA to the late Franklin Delanor Roosevelt Tyree, Sr. and Mary Lucille Shaver.
Hank grew up in Charlottesville, VA and in 2011 he moved to Culpeper. You could always find him on his motorcycle riding around going to the local convenience stores for lottery tickets and to play the slot machines. He had an old school taste in music, always listening to Marvin Gay and Hank Williams, but he still knew the words to every rap song and other genres of music. Hank had a knack at finding his luck. Whenever outside he could always find four leaf clovers. Hank was known for his rebellious behavior, but when he met his wife, Monica in 2006 he calmed down. Monica being from the Virginia Beach area, they would go visit often. Hank loved the beach there, but despised the sand. He was a man with a big heart, even if he was mad at you, he still loved you. He was always a well-dressed man, wearing rings on every finger and implementing new jewelry fashion statements weekly. Even though Hank loved his tools and truck and usually could be found in his garage with the door open taking a nap after mowing or reorganizing his tools, he hated to get dirty. Any time there was an opportunity to be in the car, Hank would always offer to drive. After everything he went through and every person he met, he never forgot anything. He could recall the memory instantly. He loved to listen to his daughter, Autumn sing. Hank most of all loved his children and was proud of them
Hank is survived by his wife, Monica Crivaro Shaver; their daughter, Autumn Lynn Shaver; his children, Kristina Gail Marrs (Cory Ray Marrs, Sr.), Kirby LaRobert Shaver (Skylar Renee Myers), Kelsee LaDane Shaver, and Tyler Austin Shaver; six grandchildren Cory Ray Marrs, Jr., Kirby LaRobert Shaver, Jr., Brayden Marrs, Isaac Marrs, Baby Boy Shaver, and Baby Girl Shaver; five siblings, Frank LaRichard Shaver (Michelle Shumaker), Kissy Tyree Elliott (Michael Elliott), Franklin Delanor Roosevelt Tyree, Jr. (Buck), Kenneth Tyree, and Frances Sanchez; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
