Guy Wesley Merritt IV's Obituary
Guy Wesley Merritt, IV, 33, of Brandy Station, VA passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1991 in Culpeper, VA to Guy Wesley Merritt, III and Rebecca Lynn Frazier Merritt.
Guy was a chef at Chilis, Ruby Tuesday, Glory Days and The Inn at Little Washington. His heart was larger than life and his personality just as big. Guy lived life to the fullest everyday and never took nothing for granted.
Guy is survived by his parents, Guy Wesley Merritt, III and Rebecca Lynn Frazier Merritt; sisters, Lacy Ann Merritt (Dee Chapman) and Katie Elizabeth Merritt; brother, Tanner Wayne Merritt (Amelia Miley); maternal grandmother, Linda Frazier; niece, Dalyn Chapman; nephews, D’Aaron Chapman, Jr. and Davion Chapman; his best friend who was like his brother, Brian Weakley; his White Tee Boyz; and a host of aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Guy was preceded in death, by his maternal grandfather, Jack Frazier and paternal grandparents, Guy Merritt, Jr. and Mary E. Merritt.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, 22701.
