Gustavo Valdez Marquez's Obituary
Gustavo Valdez Marquez, of Culpeper, died Monday, March 25, 2024 in Stevensburg, VA. He was born September 18, 1964 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Camilo Valdez Calzada and Socorro Marquez Mendez.
Gustavo attended Precious Blood Catholic Church. He was the owner and operator of Valdez Towing. Gustavo was a hard-working father and husband. He was the family videographer. He enjoyed bird watching and sitting on the porch, drinking coffee each morning. He also loved being at the ball field for every baseball game for his family.
In addition to his parents, Gustavo is survived by his wife, Leticia Valdez; five children, Grace Valdez-Perez, Johana Valdez-Perez, Bryan Valdez-Perez, Summer Valdez-Perez, and Brandon Valdez-Perez; and eight siblings, Marta Valdez Marquez, David Valdez Marquez, Gloria Valdez Marquez, Camilo Valdez Marquez, Socorro Valdez Marquez, Antonio Valdez Marquez, Mario Valdez Marquez, and Bertha Valdez Marquez.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E Edmondson St, Culpeper with Father Kevin Walsh officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Interment will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, 14414 St Isidore Wy, Orange, VA 22960 with Fr. Staples officiating.
