Dear Edd and Dana -
We occasionally check in with Fredericksburg.com for the names of old friends and acquaintances and what is going on in their lives. I cannot tell you the shock and the grief Barbara and I felt when we searched Houck and read Greta's name from an obituary last year. She was the same age as our son Ryan. We are sick with grief for you and our deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to the two of you. We have nothing but fond memories of our times in Fredericksburg, the friends we had, and the work we did together with you and Edd to help make Fredericksburg a better place to live. As parents of sons of similar age, we can especially relate to the grief and sorrow you went through, and will continue to carry with you in life. Again, please accept our belated condolences.
