Gregory Kent Pullen, Sr.'s Obituary
Gregory Kent Pullen, Sr., 65, of Culpeper died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1950 in Fauquier, VA to the late Elwood Franklin and Flossie Rebecca Pullen.
Mr. Pullen was a veteran of the US Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War (173rd Airborne). He was a retired contractor and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also served in leadership positions for Boy Scouts of America for over 25 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Joann Pullen, Corina Pullen and Briana Pullen, all of Culpeper; two sons, Gregory Kent Pullen, Jr. and Robert Paul Pullen, both of Culpeper; nine grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Yoder of Dillwyn; and five brothers, Elwood Franklin Pullen, Jr. of Arvonia, VA, Don M. Pullen of Orange, VA, Ronald Hurtle Pullen of Arizona, Gordon Ray Pullen of Florida, and Lawrence Wayne Pullen of Richmond, UT.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jennifer Rose Gechei Pullen.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 420 Willow Lawn Drive, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper V.F.W. Post 2524.
