Gregory Bryant Jenkins Sr.'s Obituary
Gregory Bryant Jenkins, Sr., 62, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 13, 1962, to Lillian D. Jenkins and the late Richard J. Jenkins of Boston, VA.
Greg had a true passion for life and was always the first to get up and dance or break into song. His laughter was contagious and brought great joy to the family. He especially loved cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles, and rarely missed a game. His joy for music, sports, and laughter brought happiness to everyone around him.
Greg is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Jenkins; mother, Lillian D. Jenkins; children, Ashley Richards and husband Randall, Jessica Merryman and husband Alan, and Gregory Bryant Jenkins, Jr.; step-daughter, Melissa Leake; grandchildren, Hannah Richards, Leighann Estes, Abby Estes, Lilly Richards, Mason Merryman, Logan Merryman, and Lilly Merryman; great-grandchild, Grayson; sisters, Michelle Jenkins and Crystal D. Jenkins; nephews, Jordan Frye, Connor Frye, and Trey Jenkins; and a host of additional family and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper with Pastor Daniel Griffith and Pastor Dale Freeman officiating.
Interment will follow at Etlan Cemetery, Church Hill Street, Etlan, VA.
Pallbearers serving the family will be his son, Gregory Jenkins, Jr.; sons-in-law, Randall Richards, and Alan Merryman; Claude Tyler (Bubby), Darren Dodson, and Connor Frye.
