Gregory Alan Hitt's Obituary
Gregory Alan Hitt, 62, of Marshall, VA passed away May 15, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. He was born August 26, 1960, to the late Richard Hitt Sr. and Francis Frazier Hitt.
Gregory was an avid Civil War relic and gun collector. He was a carpenter by trade and loved being in the garden. Gregory was a member of the American Legion Post 72. He was a loving father, son, and friend to all. In his spare time, when he was not collecting items he could be found outdoors. He had an incredible love for all things related to nature.
Gregory is survived by his son, Josh Hitt; daughter, Katie Hitt; cousin; Ashley Hitt, Brittany Hitt, Courtney Hitt, Angie Eleazer, Kim Smoot; and step-sister, Sydney Baldwin, and husband, Mike.
In addition to his parents, Gregory is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Hitt, Jr. and Michael Hitt; sister, Patricia Hitt; and great-grandmother.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
