Goldie Hawkins' Obituary
Goldie Hawkins, 89, of Rixeyville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 26, 2024. She was born February 28, 1935 to the late James Fox.
Goldie is survived by one son Cleveland A. Hawkins (Sally), two daughters, Retha Janice Pullen and Laura Mae Grigsby; and a host of other family, including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Goldie is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Ralph Lee Hawkins; two sons, Jerry Wayne Hawkins, Ralph Cumbo Hawkins and three daughters, Wilma Lee Boyer, Susan Marie Harris and Elizabeth Ann Grigsby.
Goldie loved her family and listening to her gospel. She had a true love for gardening and watching/ spending time with her many grand children and great grand children. She was a remarkable lady who left her mark on all those who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Memory Garden, 4160 Rixeyville Road, Jeffersonton, VA 22724
