Goldie A. Brewster's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Goldie A. Brewster, 84, of Woodbridge, VA. Our devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2023.
Goldie was born in Caretta, WV on January 19, 1939 to Charlie and Hattie Rose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Brewster; sister Susie Holmes; brothers, John and Jasper Rose; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Brewster.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Dwayne Brewster; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Bobbie, Jenifer, Jerry, Meaghan, Jake, Emily, Sophia, Cole, Bayleigh, Carter, Jaedyn and Aubree; and extended family and friends.
She had a love for Jesus and was a faithful member of Hosanna Fellowship Church. Goldie had a passion for gardening and the outdoors; and she was known for her witt and humor. She retired from BB&T Bank in Tyson, VA.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Theresa Ramsey officiating. Internment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a time of fellowship and food at the home of Jimmy and Freda Little.
