Glynn William Rutherford's Obituary
Glynn William Rutherford, 58, of Rixeyville, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1948 in Charlottesville to the late Harry Jackson Rutherford and Esther Cora Dodson Rutherford.
Mr. Rutherford is remembered by his family as a loving father, grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Mullins, and her husband, John, of Rixeyville. He is also survived by his identical twin brother, Joseph L. Rutherford, and his wife, Marsha, of Culpeper, and four other brothers, Bobby J. Rutherford and his wife, Nellie, Jackie T. Rutherford and his wife, Wanda, Donald D. Rutherford and his wife, Nancy, all of Rixeyville, and Roger Lee Rutherford of Springfield, VA. Additional survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Starner of Woodbridge, VA, and Betty Bruce and her husband, Billy, of Luray, VA, two grandchildren, John E. Mullins, III and Claire A. Mullins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife, Karen Rutherford.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Steve Dodson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
