Glen Riley Harris, Sr.'s Obituary
Glen Riley Harris, Sr.,74, passed away February 28th, at his residence. Glen was born June 13th, 1933 in Rogersville, Tennessee, to the late Samuel C. and Maude Bates Harris.
Glen was a veteran of the US Navy as a boiler tender serving during the Korean War. He was an engineer for Marriott Hotels for 37 years. Glen was an avid fisherman and enjoyed auto racing. He was a kind and loving father, who will be sorely missed by all.
Glen is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancie Harris, four sons, Glen Harris, Jr., Christian Harris, Jefferey Harris, and Samuel Harris, one daughter, Maude Harris, thirteen grandchildren, one brother, Joe Harris and three sisters, Ruth Griswald, Doris Feathers and Ann Harris. He also leaves behind his beloved pets Barney and Muggsy. Glen was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Harris.
