Glenn A. Neidigh's Obituary
Glenn A. Neidigh, 70, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday April 7, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Glenn was a native of Newport, PA as well as a longtime resident of Fredericksburg. Glenn drove a school bus for Spotsylvania County for many years and was the founder and owner of BG’s Italian Ice which was in Old Town Fredericksburg.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Moore; his children, Kurt Neidigh, Kraig Neidigh and his wife, Crystal, Karen Caffacus and her husband Nick, Robert Moore and his wife Christina; his sister, Deidre Hinckle and her husband Jim; his brother Barry Neidigh and his wife Lucille; his nine grandchildren, Laurel, Hannah, Abigail, Levi, Nicholas, Hannah, Max, Charlie and Jack; and his beloved dog, Bo.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 pm on Friday, April 10 2009 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels. A memorial service celebrating Glenn’s life will be held at 6:30 pm followed by reception and fellowship at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Fredericksburg SPCA 1523 Olde William Street Fredericksburg, VA 22401, or the Fredericksburg area Food Bank, P.O. Box 1006 Fredericksburg, VA 22402.
