Glenda Faye Brooks' Obituary
Glenda Faye Brooks, age 74, of Nokesville, VA, born on July 5, 1936 in Burlington, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
Glenda was the owner of Prince William Communications and was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Nokesville. Her favorite hobby was gardening along with daily reading and bible study.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Lee Bridges; her father, Rollie James Bridges; her husband, Warren W. Brooks; a son, Samuel W. Brooks; a daughter-in-law, Ora Lee Brooks; a sister, Becky Sue Orander and a brother, Frank Leland Bridges.
Glenda is survived by two sons, Danny Brooks of Nokesville, VA and Gregory M. Brooks of Manassas, VA; one brother, Bobby Joe Bridges of Burlington, NC; two grandchildren, Cary Ann Stanley and her husband, Jason of Orange, VA and Joshua C. Brooks of Culpeper, VA; nine nephews, six nieces and four great grandchildren.
Glenda’s family will receive friends Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church, 12650 Aden Road, Nokesville. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens.
