Gladys Talley's Obituary
Gladys Talley, 84, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at MicAnd Assisted Living.
She was born in North Carolina to the late Wardie and Molly Heninger. Gladys was an active member of St. Matthias United Methodist Church.
Gladys is survived by a son, Robert Talley, Jr. of Spotsylvania County; a daughter, Denise Guest and her husband, Robert of Locust Grove; a brother, Leroy Heninger and his wife, Nonie and a sister, Dorothy Habit and her husband, Jack all of Edenton, North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Talley, Sr.
Gladys’ family will receive friends Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service celebrating Gladys’ life will be held Monday, August 31, 2009 at 1:00 pm at St. Matthias United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paula Werner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers Gladys’ family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Matthias United Methodist Church, General Fund, 426 Deacon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
