Gertrude Howlett
Gertrude Howlett, 79, passed away Wednesday August 6, 2008 in Gainesville Virginia.
She was born in New Jersey to the late Werner and Alma Gustavson
Gertrude worked for many years as a sales person for both Montgomery Ward in their jewelry department, and for the Fuller Brush Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Frederic A. Howlett. Survivors include: a son Donald Eric Howlett ; three daughters, Diane Louise Kennedy of New Jersey, Patricia Ann Stuart of Culpeper, Virginia and Jeanne Marie Pinney of Bristow Va. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Joseph M. Kennedy Jr. of New Jersey, Amanda L. Stuart of Manassas, Michael W. Stuart II of Jeffersonton, Virginia, Frederic A Kennedy of New Jersey, Emily E. Stuart of Culpeper, Caitlin J. Pinney and Olivia M. Pinney both of Bristow Virginia; two great grandchildren Isaac M. Stuart, and Evan C. Kennedy.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 11, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, Virginia. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel wih the Rev. Morgan MacIntire officiating. Interment will take place Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11:00 am at Quantico National Cemetery,18424 Joplin Road, Triangle Virginia.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to a local A.S.P.C.A. of your choice.
