Gertrude "Trudy" Fant's Obituary
Helen Gertrude “Trudy” Dodson Fant, 84, of Culpeper, VA died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She was born July 23, 1937 in Culpeper to the late Richard Hezekiah Dodson and Rhoda Frances Jenkins Dodson.
Trudy is survived by her son, Edward “Eddie” Lee Fant and his wife, Tammy, sisters; Alice Dodson Reed and Mary Dodson Huntt, Grandchildren; Lori Elizabeth Fries and her husband Bill, and Lee Fant, and great grandchildren; Robert Fries and Lillian Fant. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, additional family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings; Rhoda Elizabeth Marshall, John Willis Dodson, Richard Lewis Dodson, and James Robert Dodson.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will follow in Fairview cemetery.
