Gernie Hairfield's Obituary
Gernie W. Hairfield, 82, of Spotsylvania passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He is survived by four brothers, Steve Hairfield and his wife Linda, of Chesterfield, Alfred Hairfield and his wife Berta, of Louisa, Alvin Hairfield and Wade Hairfield, both of Spotsylvania; one sister, Adele Bachrach of Mineral; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hairfield worked for VDOT for many years. He was a good brother and friend who will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private.
